NeuralScan qEEG+ System
The NeuralScan qEEG+/eLORETA ANS system is an FDA 501k cleared system (on all components) that collects qEEG, Evoke Potential, ANS biomarkers, and Neurocognitive Patient Screening as a valuable psychological screener and patient assessment tool. This is a medical device for the objective assessment of patient’s neurocognitive function.
The NeuralScan provides an objective and expansive functional measurement of the brain and cognition by using multiple electrophysiological technologies combined into one portable, non‐invasive testing device. These technologies include:
- Quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG)
- eLORETA: Exact low resolution brain electromagnetic tomography (zero localization error)
- Electrocardiography (ECG)
- Event‐Related Potential (ERP)
- Neurocognitive Patient Screener (NPS)
The NeuralScan qEEG+ utilizes 21 sensors over the entire scalp, allowing for accurate eLORETA source localization imaging of areas within the brain. In addition, a comprehensive symptom questionnaire is also used to target possible pathologies and help physicians determine the source of their patient’s symptoms and the next treatment plan more thoroughly.
